Season 3

Season 3 is the third season of Netflix's series Never Have I Ever. On August 19, 2021, it was announced that the series was renewed for a third season.^[1]^[2] Production began in November 2021 and wrapped on February 28, 2022. It was released on August 12, 2022.^[3]^[4]

Synopsis[]

Devi and her friends may finally be single no more. But they're about to learn that relationships come with a lot of self-discovery — and all the drama.

On Aug. 15, 2022 actors Poorna Jagannathan and Sarayu Blue went onto discuss the rarity of getting to see two distinct depictions of South Asian mothers existing on the same show.^[9]
On August 16, 2022, Poorna Jagannathan, went onto talk in an interview for InStyle playing Devi's mom, her style evolution, and why it was important to incorporate South Asian designers in every outfit.^[10]
On August 27, 2022, the 17-time Grand Slam winner talked about his role in the comedy-drama series, saying, “Who would’ve thought that [I] would be the sort of psychologist or uncle or advisor to an 18- or 17-year-old Indian American girl going through high school, so I got to credit Mindy Kaling”. Explaining how Kaling came up with such a unique idea, McEnroe revealed that “The Office” alum got the inspiration from her own life. “It turned out her father was a big tennis fan and must’ve talked about me a lot when she was growing up,” the 63-year-old said.^[11]
On September 4, 2022, Lewison stated how he was so happy that the world has finally gotten to see the third season of Never Have I Ever. He further admitted to loving all the fan reactions and comments! He then teased in the interview that he couldn't wait for everyone to see Season Four, as well.^[12]
