Lindsay has a passion for teaching, but she also demonstrates that she cares for the well-being of her students. She is kind, but doesn't mince her words.

As a Substitute Teacher[]
Lindsay first appears in ...liked a bad boy when she joins Sherman Oaks High as a substitute teacher. Being new, she is subject to the "lower" volunteer roles like bathroom duty at prom.
The reason she wanted to become a teacher is because her parents split up and it took a toll on her, to the point where her grades began to split. However, there was one teacher who never let her fail and it really encouraged her to become a teacher.
Dating Paxton[]
Lindsay tries to help Paxton adjust to being a teacher instead of a student. They share a few special moments and start to date at the end of Season 4 after they get closer volunteering at the prom. They attended Nirmala's wedding together.
