Janina Gavankar is an American actress who portrays Akshara in the fourth and final season of the Netflix series, Never Have I Ever.

Janina Zione Gavankar (born November 29, 1980) is an American actress and musician. Gavankar is also trained as a pianist, vocalist, and orchestral percussionist.
Her most notable roles include Iden Versio, a canon Star Wars figure and the protagonist of Star Wars: Battlefront II. Additionally, she portrayed the shapeshifter Luna Garza in True Blood, Papi in The L Word, and Shiva in The League.
