Eve Hjelm is Fabiola's ex-girlfriend and a former student at Sherman Oaks High. She is portrayed by Christina Kartchner.

Eve is friendly, popular, and outgoing. She is openly queer. She is shown to know a lot about queer pop culture and is culturally aware.

Season 1[]
Meeting Fabiola Torres[]
At school, Fabiola is in a conversation with Devi and Eleanor and gets her eyes on Eve standing on the stairs, smiling at each other. There are four people that aren't in a group, she, Fabiola, Eleanor and Ben. Fabiola doesn't want her in the group and tells Mr. Shapiro that Ben could be in her and Eleanor's group which Mr. Shapiro doesn't accept and put all four in a group to work on the project.
Working on the project, Ben tells the girls that they all are hating on the topic he chose, Jewber. Eve immediately tells him that she is Jewish. After she and Fabiola are alone in the classroom, she tells her that she like her nails, while Fabiola is trying to rush out of the room to avoid Eve. Before Fabiola leaves, she gets up and asks her to go to a fundraiser she and her friend were going to for a queer youth center.

Fabiola asks her why she asked her and not Eleanor and Ben and tells her that she thought that she might be into it and that Eleanor and Ben were a lot. Fabiola interrupts by saying that she got the wrong idea about her and leaves Eve all by herself in the classroom. The next day, she was flirting with a girl while Fabiola was watching.

At the party, she brings Fabiola baking soda to use on her jacket that is soaked with punch after Fabiola accidentally outed herself in front of her whole class in a conflict with Devi. Fabiola offers her a seat on the stairs where she is sitting. They talk and tells Fabiola what she did in front of everyone took guts even it was accidental and told her that she came out by getting stoned and tweeting "me gay now". During the conversation, Fabiola apologizes for being weird and rude to her before and asking her to grab food with her sometime which Eve accepts. They start dating after the party.
Season 2[]
During Season 2, Eve is mostly seen with her girlfriend Fabiola Torres, but also has a new best friend named Sasha.
She is revealed to know a lot about queer pop culture this season and shares this vast knowledge with Fabiola. The main plot for Fabiola and Eve follows them running for cricket queens. This makes them the first queer couple to do so at their school. They also profess their love to each other at the Big Winter Ball while dancing.
Season 3[]
At the very beginning of Season 3, Eve moved to Seoul, South Korea due to her mother opening a franchise of Bar Method over there. She and Fabiola agree to have a long-distance relationship. The time difference is 17 hours and because of this, Fabiola has to stay up late to facetime Eve. When Fabiola gets an 82% on a history test, she realizes that the long-distance relationship is unhealthy and breaks up with Eve.
Eve doesn't make an appearance at all this season. However, she is only mentioned in the last episode by Fabiola at the wedding during the "Never Have I Ever: Drinking Game" when she admitted that the both of them hooked up in Devi's room during Devi's going away party which led to their friends surprised about it.
