Benvi (Ben + Devi), also known as Ben and Devi are a romantic couple, also good friends and former scholarly and academic rivals, with both of them attending Sherman Oaks High as students. The relationship was a part of the love triangle between Devi, Ben, and Paxton.
They were a couple until they broke up in Season 2, ... thrown a rager, and ultimately got back together for good in Season 4, ... said goodbye.
They are portrayed by Jaren Lewison and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, respectively.

(Season 1, Episode 1 - Season 1, Episode 5): Ben and Devi had been academic rivals since the first grade. They disliked each other for several years, bickering and trying to beat the other person, striving to be better than the other in grades and awards. They often made playful remarks to annoy the other in and outside of classes.
However, Ben began seeing beyond the superficiality of his girlfriend at the time, Shira, and began seeing in Devi what he wanted in a relationship. Realizing his feelings coming into fruition, he attempted to kiss Devi two times at his birthday party, and she clearly didn't return the feelings for the time being.
Slowly but surely, however, she began reading into her own deep emotions and feelings about Ben, and was unnerved to realize she had romantic feelings for him as well. However, her obsession with Paxton was stronger, and they stayed as just competitive friends until the finale in season 1, when they kiss.

(Season 1, Episode 5 - Season 1, Episode 10): Ben and Devi bonded on their field trip and became friends. Devi briefly iced him out when finding about him telling people about her sleeping with Paxton but they made up when he stayed at Devi's house. Ben tries to kiss Devi while drunk, making the latter confused. She lived with him briefly and he brought her to the beach to spread Mohan's ashes. Devi is happy that Ben stayed and kisses him.

(Season 2, Episode 1 - Season 2, Episode 2): Devi ends up choosing Ben and they start dating, only for it to be revealed that she was dating Paxton as well. Ben ends up finding out when overhearing her tell Zoe and Shira about it. Hurt and angry, he tells Paxton, making both boys break up with her.

(Season 2, Episode 4 - Season 2, Episode 7): After the breakup, Ben is shown to still to be hurt about the cheating and expresses it towards Devi. He gets even more upset when finding out that Devi started the rumor about Aneesa. They both end up becoming friends again after Devi makes things right with Aneesa.
Friends again[]
(Season 2, Episode 8 - Season 4, Episode 9): Ben and Devi are both shown to be supportive of each other and hanging out constantly. It is also implied that they both still have feelings for each other. In the season finale, Devi goes to Ben's house and give him the "one free boink card", leading to them having sex. Devi is initially hurt, finding out about Ben and Margot but wants him to be happy. Ben tells her that Margot doesn't want them to speak anymore, making Devi feel hurt, only for it to be revealed that giving her the silent treatment was his idea. They eventually make up and become friends again on the college trip.
Dating[]
(Season 4, Episode 10): Ben flies back from New York at his new college to Nirmala's wedding and confesses his love for Devi, to which she shares her mutual feelings. The two then have Intimacy and get back together once and for all.
