Akshara is a very nice woman. At first, she is put off by Devi cutting the line. However, she gives Devi several second chances.

Akshara has an Indian background. She has short straight black hair.
Background[]
Akshara is an admissions representative at Princeton University. She meets Devi at a college fair and initially gets a bad impression of Devi, but later is impressed by Devi's honesty and ambition. She also meets Fabiola and encourages her to apply to Princeton.
After Devi gets wait-listed at Princeton, Akshara encourages Devi to submit a supplementary essay to try and get off the wait list.
